Rachel Chu travels to Singapore with her boyfriend, Nick Young, to meet his family. An exotic, young adult contemporary read. Easy to read and hard to put down, lots of unexpected plot twists and surprises. It is also educative, as the book had tons of vocabulary and slang from East Asian culture, along with definitions, which was something I loved about the book. Would recommend this book to anyone who’s looking for some light mystery, a YA contemporary read.
