William Thacker is an ordinary man. He works in a travel bookstore and shares a flat in Notting Hill with Spike, a foolish and messy Welsh man. Anna Scott is a famous American actor visiting Notting Hill to promote her latest film. William has always seen Anna in magazines and movies but never thought he would have an awkward encounter with her in his bookstore. He also didn’t know he would end up spilling orange juice all over her directly afterwards, but that day seemed to be full of surprises.
This DVD is rated PG-13, but many websites say it is suitable for people 13 years+. This sweet movie is perfect for anyone who loves romcoms. I enjoyed the screen time the Williams family is given because viewers get to know them well and I enjoyed that there were no unresolved side-plots. The main plot was very entertaining and the cinematography was phenomenal.
