An Abundance of Katherines by John Green

In the novel An Abundance of Katherines written by John Green, Colin Singleton likes to date girls named Katherine when it comes to relationships. Colin also consistently loses the attention of any and all Katherines. To be precise, 19 times. Colin is on a mission to establish the ‘Theorem of Underlying Katherine Predictability’, which he believes will predict the outcome of each relationship, exact revenge on all Dumpees, and eventually bring him love.

This book is enjoyable and entertaining to read. The plot is both ridiculous and immensely intriguing. Collin's awkward demeanour and his pal Hassan's humour make a wonderful team. Even if there isn't much to get diverted by, the incorporation of math and equations can be a little puzzling.

I wouldn't recommend this book if you aren't interested in stuff like swearing, because it does contain some mature language utilized by all the characters. Besides that, this book was fantastic! John Green's ‘Looking for Alaska’ is a good choice if you're looking for more books like this.
