When writing this 12-song-long album, Michael stated he subtly included darker themes in his album “Billie Jean” is about obsessive fans, and the song “Thriller” has creaking doors, footsteps, and howling noises incorporated to give it a mysterious and spine-chilling undertone. This album is loved by people of all ages and has a fantastic selection of songs with a good beat to dance to. The song “Thriller” definitely stood out the most as it had a whole different ambiance that makes it the perfect song for Halloween or spooky parties, yet still fit the album’s disco funk genre.
