On the surface, the Crain family is like most. They have fights and they don’t always see eye-to-eye, but deep down they still love each other. After a traumatic event in their childhood, the Crains begin to separate and lead their respective lives until their beloved sister commits suicide. Then, they’re forced to put their differences aside and come together as one, but not without bringing their dark past to light.
All of the characters are well crafted, and different in their own way. None of them seems perfect or even likable at first glance, but by the end, you see them for who they truly are under their flaws.
This eerie and chilling mini-series is perfect for those who enjoy the supernatural horror genre. Every episode is a window into the various, complicated lives of each character, from childhood to present day. Slowly, the viewer collects pieces of the story and is able to put them together until the full puzzle is revealed. Whether you’re a skeptic or a believer, I’m sure you’ll thoroughly enjoy this series.
