Inside Divergent: The Initiate’s World is a short guide-like book showing the world in which the book series and movies Divergent takes place in. This book takes you through the basics like what is divergent and the five factions' beliefs, to how the Initiates and faction leaders think and act. With this information, readers have extra knowledge that may give them a better understanding of the book and the images could assist with recognizing the characters in the movies.

I thought this book was neat, it felt like I was getting a head start on knowledge so the books and movies will make more sense to read and watch. Something I found particularly interesting was the types and colours of clothing the different factions wear, it is something I never would have imagined while reading the books. I highly recommend you read Inside The Maze Runner by Veronica Deets because it is also a photo companion to a dystopia movie, just like this book.
