Atomic Habits by James Clear

Atomic Habits is a book that provides a thorough analysis of how minor adjustments to our routines can have a big impact. The book is organized as an easy-to-read manual that offers helpful guidance on how to create positive habits and break negative ones. Regarding anything from the micro-habits of combing your hair to the macro-habits of running a business, Clear illustrates how even minor changes may produce remarkable outcomes. The book also provides scientific support for how habits can help you achieve your goals as well as advice on how to stay motivated (even when engaging in a habit) and implement long-lasting changes.

I enjoyed the book because it is realistic and important; the main goal of the book is to educate the reader on "how tiny habits (like smoking) performed daily could affect your goals (Healthy lungs)" and how to behave in a focused mindset to achieve a goal. For example, wanting to be a lawyer (a career) would motivate a person to emphasize and behave in the manner of what a lawyer would do in specific situations.

Like the book and want to work on "self-improvement"? Try the book "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People," which is designed to assist in "stepping up the game" in the seven most common habits. A recommended reading for students in grade 8 and higher, because students in grades 8 prepare oneself to become adults by learning "Productive" habits, while those in higher than that grade learn to adjust things (in their habits) as well as take the proper steps in their lives to achieve specific goals.
