The first three quarters of Unlocked is a comprehension guide to the Lost Cities filled with art, a map of the Lost Cities, recipes, world details, the registry and so much more. The rest of the book is a special novella that picks up right after Legacy. The chapters alternate between Keefe’s and Sophie’s perspectives. Keefe is recovering in the healing centre after the events in Lomanor, while Sophie and councillor Oralie work together to open Keneric’s cache revealing shocking new truths and secrets. 

Unlocked is the 8.5th book in the Keeper of the Lost Cities series, in between Legacy (book 8) and StellerluneI (book 9).This book was an awesome read, there were fun quizzes, Keefe’s long detention records and cool facts and information on the Lost Cities.The novella was special because it was different from the rest of the series. I was able to read between two perspectives and get to know a bit more about Keefe since the series is usually limited to Sophie’s point of view. If you’ve enjoyed the other books in this series and you like fantasy and adventure this would be a book for you.
