Paraplegic former Marine Jake Sully is sent to Pandora to replace his deceased twin brother. Pandora is a world where the Na’vi live and the environment there is poisonous to humans so human/Na’vi hybrids called avatars must be linked to the human’s mind for them to be on Pandora. In an avatar Jake Sully meets the Na’vi people and falls in love with a Na’vi woman. As their bond grows he is drawn into a battle to protect Pandora. 

Avatar is a classic and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a sci-fi and action adventure movie starring Sam Worthington as Jake Sully, Zoё Saldana as Neytiri, Sigourney Weaver as Grace, Stephen Lang as Miles Quaritch, Michelle Rodriguez as Trudy Chacon and Giovanni Ribisi as Parker Selfridge. Avatar’s core message is to rekindle our awareness and connections to nature and each other. The actors/actress portrayed their characters well, the plot was entertaining and the world of Pandora was beautiful and cool.
