The Complete Cookbook For Young Chefs features over 100 recipes that are fun to cook and eat. Including snacks ( guacamole), breakfast (e.g. french toast), dinner (e.g. sweet and tangy glazed salmon), beverages (e.g. sweet iced tea), desserts (e.g. fudgy chocolate mug cakes), and sides(e.g. cheesy drop biscuits).
There are step by step instructions, tips and tricks such as knives 101 and healthy eating. I enjoyed using some of these recipes, they were easy to follow, cook, and were delicious. This book would be useful to teens that may want to start cooking or baking more often.
There are a bunch of recipes to pick and choose from. America’s Test Kitchen has been teaching home cooks for 25 years through magazines, books, websites and T.V. shows, therefore the information is accurate. Overall this book would be a great introduction to cooking or for more ideas and recipes.
