All is lost is an Action-Adventure Drama/Thriller directed by J.C Chandor that tells a story of an unfortunate soul that is lost at sea. It is an emotional story that demonstrates how unforgiving the world can be with an amazing performance from Robert Redford.  His acting skills carry the movie with a distinct lack of dialogue that only adds suspense to the atmosphere that Redford's Character desperately tries to fight against in an attempt of survival.
