Battle of Leningrad is a War Drama written by Aleksey Kozlov that tells the story of the Siege of Leningrad during World War Two. The movie provides an accurate retelling of the battle and properly depicts the suffering and brutal warfare that took place during the beginning of the event.

 

The cast of Battle of Leningrad is mainly Russian as the movie was directed in Russia, meaning it was dubbed over in English voices, which made it harder to be immersed; however, the visuals and audio effects that were used were able to create and intense atmosphere that was able to demonstrate the resilience of the Russians during this time span.

 

The dub was very noticeable and it took away from the movie; however, the movie was still plenty good for people who are interested in War or Drama movies.
