Walter's War is a historical action drama that shows an accurate retelling of the life of Walter Tull, a black man that broke social norms during the first world war by becoming the first black officer to lead white British soldiers into battle. It shows his struggles against racism and adversity throughout his life and how he persevered through it all.

 

Walter's War was directed by Alrick Riley, who picked out actors that could play their roles incredibly well, with O-T Fagbenle taking the main role as Watler Tull himself with conviction and depth. The movie does an incredible job of exploring the themes of racism and the horrors of war.
