Last Tang Standing follows the story of Singaporean lawyer, Andrea Tang, as she struggles with balancing demands from her family, job, and her love life. She struggles quite a bit with the pressures of finding a partner and settling down, while trying to please her family members who won't accept just anyone into their family.
Although the book is funny and enjoyable enough, her relationships with other characters, particularly those involving her love interests, feel superficial and undeveloped. I would suggest this book to people interested in Singaporean lifestyle and culture because it is a fun and light read. However, those seeking a more well-developed plot and better character development could find those things lacking in this book.
