Guardians of the Galaxy is a superhero film based on the comic book of the same name. It takes place in the Marvel cinematic universe (MCU), which combines all Marvel superhero stories into the same universe. The movie follows Peter Quill, also known as Star Lord, played by Chris pratt, as he is abducted by a smuggler group known as the Ravagers and trained into a bounty hunter.  In the future it is shown that he steals an ancient artifact of unknown power and then is ambushed by the big bad guy of the story. Peter tries to sell the artifact to the black market but is ambushed once again and taken prisoner with the other characters of the main cast.

 

The cast of the movie played their characters incredibly well and each of their performances brought the movie together with their witty dialogue and hilarious actions. The audio and visual effects brought many of the scenes together with massive fight scenes and other calmer moments of the story.

 

With a hilarious performance, an interesting concept, and good fight scenes, this movie is a good watch no matter what you're interested in.
