Eighty Days to Elsewhere by KC Dyer

Eighty Days to Elsewhere follows the adventures of Maggie Phillips, a travel writer, who is given the difficult task of travelling to a number of locations, some of which are very difficult to reach, and writing about her experiences in each spot for a travel guidebook. Essentially completing a world tour in 80 days. She experiences various cultures and goes to many places such as Europe, South America, and the Middle East.

The plot lacked tension sometimes and the conflicts faced by Maggie was a bit predictable and too easily resolved at times. Some sections in the story were also dragged on for a bit too long; however, there was an interesting side plot of romance between her and Jean-Luc, another traveller she met during her exciting and descriptive adventures.

Overall, this novel was quite an easy and enjoyable read and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys reading about travel, adventure, and enjoys learning about different cultures.
