Star Wars, The Rise of Skywalker is a space opera that offers a satisfying conclusion to the Star Wars saga. The movie follows the continued journey of Rey, Finn, and Poe as they join forces with the Resistance to face off against the evil First Order and Kylo Ren to bring balance to the force and peace to the galaxy.
The cast brings strong performances and play their characters well. In the final battle of the Star Wars saga, however, the main character Rey wasn't written the best and could be seen as an excuse to fill plot holes in the Star Wars storyline. Despite the poorly written character, the visual and audio effects were amazing and were a great send off for the Star Wars saga.
Many old fans of Star Wars who are deeply interested in the lore may not like this movie. However, with interesting and returning characters, large scales battles, and amazing visual effects, any casual or new fan of Star Wars will like this movie.
