Cedric O’Toole is the star of The Fall Guy. He enjoys and is satisfied with his simple life on farm, collecting antiques for the next invention; however, the main story of this book and his tragedy begins with the death of a wealthy businessman’s wife. His wife Lori-Anne Wilkins died in a fall from the deck that was built by Cedric. The wife's father was furious and sued Cedric, but when Cedric went to check the accident site, he discovered someone had tampered the handrails around the deck. Cedric and his capable city lawyer considered this accident as premaditated murder that killed Lori-Anne Wilkins and tries to find the real criminal to clear Cedric O’Toole’s name.
