Monster Hunter World is an action role-playing game with an immersive open world with an age rating of T on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Players take on the role of a hunter tasked with tracking and slaying various colossal monsters while the gameplay revolves around preparation, exploration, and intense battles against formidable creatures.

 

Monster Hunter World has stunning visuals and a meticulously designed ecosystem filled with lush forests, deserts, and snowy peaks. Each ecosystem has its own set of monsters to hunt and areas to explore.  The world seems to be teaming with life, increasing immersion; however, the game's steep learning curve and complex mechanics may be difficult to understand, but after learning the mechanics, the gameplay become fluid and enjoyable. Plus, there are little cat companions that are really adorable.

Monster Hunter World is an enjoyable and immersive game; however, the time investment needed to become the best hunter means you will be sinking multiple hundreds of hours to be able to see all the game has to offer.
