The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo is a must read book for all. It is inspiring and moving and beautiful in a way very few books are. Switching back and forth between Evelyn's life through the decades and Moniques current life makes this story so much more captivating and meaningful. As we watch Evelyn ruthlessly climb her way to the top and do whatever she needs to be the best we see Monique become inspired like she never has before. She learns to stand up for herself and get what she wants because of Evelyn's life story. This is an emotional book and as glamorous as Evelyn's life was, it was also very difficult.
