Venom is a superhero film based on the comic of the same name. The story follows the origin story of Venom and Eddie Brock, a journalist who bonded with an alien symbiote, which results in the formation of Venom.

 

Tom Hardy's performance as Eddie Brock/Venom is one of the strong suits of the movie, with his amazing acting he is able to bring depth to the character. Alongside Hardys performance, the action scenes are interesting as they demonstrate the unnatural powers that Venom offers with some good scenes of just Eddie Brock himsel; however, the film's pacing seems off at times with some characters feeling kind of rushed.

 

Venom was an enjoyable film that may not compare too well with other marvel movies, but was still a good film.
