This action/fantasy/heist/comedy movie based on the popular tabletop role-playing game (RPG), Dungeons and Dragons, features the story of Egdin, whose daughter is captured by the Lord of Neverwinter. Now, he must embark on an epic quest with his companions in order to steal what is rightfully his.

Starring Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, and Regé-Jean Page as its lead actors, most of the characters were decently well developed but very predictable. Hugh Grant delivers a great performance in the role of the charismatic villain, and made the predictable plot more enjoyable. Overall, the movie is nothing special, but still enjoyable enough and a fun time for the family.

I’d recommend this movie to people who are simply looking for something to pass the time or have a nice little family night.
