The Inheritance games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes is an amazing book filled with mystery, romance, and friendship. After Avery Grambs (The MC) Is summoned to Texas for the reading of a billionaire's will, she finds out that the old man left her his whole fortune. In order to keep the money she needs to live in the Hawthorne house for one full year, in a house filled with secret passageways, codes, and the rest of Tobias Hawthornes family that were disinherited, including his four grandsons; mysterious and smart boys, who thought they would inherit millions of dollars. With the help of at least one of the grandsons, Avery Grambs tries to figure out what was on everyone's mind - why her? All of the characters were written brilliantly and it felt as if they were real. I could not get myself to put this book down.  I finished it the same day I started, and I enjoyed trying to solve the puzzles along with the characters, and could not wait to find out why Tobias Hawthorne picked Avery. Even if you aren’t the biggest fan of mystery novels, it is 100% still an amazing read, with the love tringle between Avery and two of the grandsons, and the friendships that grow. The story was filled with plot twists that completely and utterly shocked me, some even made me put down the book and stare at my wall for a few minutes. After reading this book I immediately started the second one, and after that (just two days later) I started the third, now I am excitedly waiting for the last book to be released. It is definitely one of my new favorites and I recommend it to anyone who likes a fast paced book, love stories, and mysteries.
