Zero Limit is an exciting sci-fi novel that follows moon-born veteran Caitlin Taggart, who is stuck on the moon all thanks to recent immigration laws, leading her to be forced to work dirty mining jobs with her crew to earn a living. However, she is offered an illegal and high-stakes opportunity that, if done properly, could earn her not only a small fortune, but the ability to return back to Earth and her daughter, whom she would do anything for. This risky assignment involves Caitlin leading her small crew of miners onto a large asteroid to direct it into lunar orbit. However, an unexpected disaster strikes, which puts not only Caitlin and her crew’s life in jeopardy, but also the entire population of Earth. Caitlin and her crew are forced to race against the clock and cooperate with a team from Earth in order to save themselves and the human race as we know it.
Zero Limit is a great read that fans of outer space would love. While it may seem like an innocent sci-fi novel at first glance, as you read on, it dives into a completely new layer of prejudice and unfair hate boiling in a future society. The biggest challenge of this story, in my opinion, does not only lie within the saving of the entire human race, but rather the fact that they must overcome this quickly growing layer of hate in order to save themselves and those around them. If you enjoy reads that involve some good old sci-fi mixed in with issues of the real world, then Zero Limit by Jeremy K. Brown is an excellent choice for you.
