The story follows the classic video game characters, Mario and Luigi. When Bowser kidnaps his brother, Luigi, Mario teams up with Princess Peach in order to rescue him and save the mushroom kingdom. 

This is a very fun kids movie with tons of references to the games it’s based on and it is entertaining for the whole family. Though the plot is nothing extraordinary, the movie is filled with entertaining scenes, which somewhat puts the story in the background and make up for this.

I’d recommend this movie for those looking for a fun movie to watch with their family or fans of the iconic Mario series.
