1989 by Taylor Swift [CD]

Taylor Swift’s fifth studio album, 1989, with 13 tracks, includes rock and pop music and sold more than 10 million copies worldwide. Its name came from the year she was born, giving it a unique and meaningful significance. Throughout the album, there's a strong focus on heartbreak; however, unlike her other albums, this time it leads her to find love within herself. This is what makes this particular album special.

One of my favourite songs in the album is "Shake It Off." In this track, she talks about brushing off all the negative comments and doing what she’s passionate about because “haters gonna hate”. I love how catchy the chorus is, and how easily you can recognize it right from the moment it begins playing.

However, this album contains several tracks that might be considered filler, like "Welcome to New York" and "Bad Blood". Overall, it's a solid album. I highly recommend it to everyone.  If you're interested in this album, be sure to give Taylor Swift's Speak Now album a listen.
