After hitmen kill his dog (a gift from his dead wife) and steal his car, John Wick goes on a mission to get revenge on them. 

Filled with lots of action and shootouts, this movie is good old turn-your-brain-off fun. The lead role, played by Keanu Reeves, is also very convincing, and the story manages to get you invested in his revenge against the horrible people who wronged him. 

If you’re looking for an action movie, this is a great option.
