Payday 3 is an action-packed first-person-shooter adventure game that has players going through many kinds of locations, ranging from banks, to jewelry stores, to top secret facilities. The game follows you as the protagonist on a quest to earn as much money as possible. The game lets you play multiplayer with real people or bots if you prefer a solo experience. The gameplay consists of trying to sneak into and rob various high security locations that are brimming full of cash, or going in guns a blazing and fighting off the police, while trying to get the cash to the getaway vehicle. Overall, I would prefer a completely solo option without bots and maybe some balancing or additional compensation for the added difficulty. Payday 3 has amazing graphics that really add to the great immersion. Compared to other games, these visual graphics are also very well complimented with a beautiful soundtrack that is one of the best I've ever heard. Difficulty is a tough topic for Payday 3 as it depends on your skill in the shooter genre. There are few difficulty options and easier robberies than others to pull off, but I can see the game being very difficult for some people. Payday 3’s replayability all depends on how you see it. There are 8 heists with long lasting progression, but I have seen others argue that only 8 30min robberies for over $60 is steep. However, I believe that the huge amount of progression and loadout options for your character along with cosmetics makes this a very replay able game. One thing I hate about Payday 3 is its progression system. If you want a deep dive, I recommend you look it up on google because I am sure there are many different sources to choose from, but the basics are that the game only gives experience through certain challenges and with it being one of the only ways and the only way after playing for a while, I think you can see where the issues arise. This is not a problem at the start as you complete them without even realizing it, but as you play more and more, you find yourself not being able to play the way you want. The game comes with many in depth tutorials to help the player into the genre, but you will need at least some first-person shooter experience before giving this game a shot. You cannot save during a heist but considering they only last 30 minutes at the most it's not something to worry about or let influence your decision to buy. Payday 3 is available on PC, Xbox and PlayStation (and is free on Xbox Gamepass). Overall, I would rate this game a 7/10 and I would recommend it to everyone looking for a robbery style game.
