Somewhere Back in Time is a compilation album featuring Iron Maiden's top hit's from 1980 - 1989. This compilation album really shows the best of Iron Maiden's work all the way from 1980 to 1989. Somewhere Back in Time was named after their seventh studio album, Somewhere in Time. I thought that Somewhere Back in Time goes through Iron Maiden's journey as a band as they try out different styles and sounds. My favourite song from this album is Wasted Years (originally on Somewhere in Time). I like this song mostly because of the chorus vocals and harmony. The guitar solo is also great in this song. Somewhere Back in Time is definitely my favourite Iron Maiden album because it includes most of my very favourite songs from them. I would rate this album 9/10 because it really shows some of Iron Maiden's best work.
