The Hawthorne Legacy is the second book to the Inheritance Games trilogy. It is a mystery romance written by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. In this thrilling sequel to Inheritance Games, which ended chaotically, Avery Grambs, now heiress, has to pick up the pieces and solve various puzzles to find the man who who might just hold the answers to all of her questions. One such question is why Tobias Hawthorne left virtually his entire fortune to Avery, a stranger, instead of his own daughters or grandsons. The characters in this book are still amazing. I found them so easy to read about and very relatable. I really enjoyed reading about the different friendships between Avery and the hawthorne brothers. They each have their own interesting personalities that Avery bonds with.

I loved this book.  It was a perfect sequel to the Inheritance Games and the transition between the two books was great. The mysteries only get better and better, and the puzzles lead right into the second book. The puzzle pieces fit perfectly with all the mysteries and they just all connected and its amazing. I would highly recommend this book, its easy to read, keeps you hooked, and never gets boring. Definitely required to read the first book first as the story gets continued in this book and it would be hard to understand without reading the first.
