The game elevates Miles' story with engaging gameplay, improved mechanics, and a vibrant depiction of New York City. While smaller in scale, every aspect feels essential and polished. Nadji Jeter's portrayal of Miles adds depth, staying true to the character's essence. The narrative blends personal struggles with superhero action seamlessly, exploring Miles' journey in Harlem. Combat and traversal mechanics shine, with Miles' unique abilities offering fresh gameplay experiences. The game's visuals are stunning, especially on the PlayStation 5, leveraging its hardware capabilities. Side missions are varied and meaningful, enhancing the open-world experience. Despite its shorter length, Miles Morales delivers a compelling adventure and sets a high standard for superhero games. The only downside being it is only available on the PS4 and PS5.
