A Long Walk to Water" is a remarkable and eye-opening book that takes readers on a journey through the lives of Nya and Salva. It beautifully showcases the harsh realities of life in Sudan and the power of hope and resilience. This must-read story educates and inspires, reminding us of the importance of access to clean water and all the other basic human rights that's still not available for millions of people around the world, and the impact that one person can make in the world. One of the many reasons I like this book is how clrearly and organized it is expressed that even with going back and forth between stories it would not get mixed in your head, rather it would get more engaging as you finish each chapter. It's a powerful reminder that even in the face of adversity, determination and compassion can create lasting change.
