In the second book of the Wings of Fire series, Tsunami and the four other dragonets of destiny journey to the SeaWing Kingdom to meet Tsunami’s mother, who is the queen of the SeaWing tribe. However, her return doesn’t go quite as she expected; and Tsunami soon realises that she might be in grave danger.
Wings of Fire: The Lost Heir was a great book. The mystery was captivating, the characters were interesting, and the story flowed smoothly. I really liked how the author included many plot twists; it made for a very engaging read. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who’s interested in fantasy/adventure, especially to anyone who’s already read the first book in the series (Wings of Fire: The Dragonet Prophecy).
If you enjoy this, I would definitely suggest checking out the rest of the Wings of Fire series, which includes 14 more main books, as well as 2 prequels, 4 short stories, and 7 graphic novel adaptations. All of these are also written by Tui T. Sutherland.
