To break this spell, Evangeline and Jacks must battle with old friends, new foes, and a magic that plays with both heads and hearts. Evangeline has always followed her heart, but this time she's not sure she can trust it. Evangeline is such a clever character, she was such a interesting character to read about and I loved it. She learns from her mistakes, yet still follows what led her to heartbreak anyways. I feel Evangeline has learned a lot about herself and much more during the start of the series, to now. I absolutely loved this book, it was heartbreaking, tense, fast paced, and exactly what you want in a book. It was truly amazing. I would suggest reading the first book in order for this one to make sense. I would highly recommend this book, it was amazing and definitely lives up to five stars or more!
