Five Survive by Holly Jackson is a young adult mystery thriller. Holly Jackson is the author of the popular series “A Good Girl's Guide to Murder”. Five Sruvive follows Red and her friends, who are on a roadtrip in an RV for spring break. As they get farther and farther away, their RV breaks down in the middle of nowhere. There's no cell phone reception and nobody around to help. But when the wheels get shot out, they realize this is not an accident. There is a sniper, willing to kill any of them if they attempt to leave. One member of the group has a secret and the sniper wants it. This book is amazing. It is the perfect thriller book, as all of the friends try to figure out who has this deadly secret. It's interesting to read through the main character Red's perspective, as the friends have no trouble betraying one another if they think it's them who's holding the secret. I really enjoyed this book. It was unsettling, and very hard to put down. I fully recommend this book. If you liked Holly Jacksons other books, you will definitely love this. Five Survive is the perfect fast paced and unpredictable mystery thriller. I would definitely recommend!
