Looking for something good to read? At KFPL you can receive book recommendations from library staff via May We Suggest and from teenage volunteers via the Teen Review Board (TRB). The TRB is comprised of teens who love to read, watch movies, listen to music, and earn volunteer hours by reviewing library materials for KFPL’s website. This year we received more than 90 reviews from Kingston and Frontenac youth, and below are some of the highlights! For more information about the Teen Review Board, or, to volunteer, please visit this website.

Teen Volunteers need for our Reading Buddies Program
KFPL is looking for teen volunteers to assist with our popular Reading Buddies program. Volunteers will assist a KFPL programmer in the facilitation of literacy instruction and fun activities for children in Grades 1 to 3. We need volunteers for our July 9 - July 12 session at Isabel Turner (1:30 - 3 p.m. each day) and our August 6 - 9 session at Central (1:30 - 3 p.m. each day). Participants will earn volunteer hours by attending a short training session, reading to and with younger children, and helping to organize this rewarding program.
