Fall Prevention for Older Adults

Fall Prevention for Older Adults

Falling is a major cause of injury among older adults, but many falls can be predicted and prevented. Volunteers from the KFL&A Public Health Fall Prevention Ambassadors Program will show how to reduce your risk of a serious fall at each of four identical sessions in November. Free to all older adults, their family members and caregivers, but seating is limited. To avoid disappointment please register in advance with KFL&A Public Health by phone at (613) 549-1232, ext. 571, or by emailing FallPreventionRegistration@kflaph.ca .  Next session: Thursday, November 15, at Isabel Turner Branch, 2 p.m.
