Most fire deaths occur in the home, where we feel safest.  You may only have minutes to escape safely from a house fire, so escape planning and practice can make all the difference. How prepared is your family?  Kingston Fire & Rescue personnel will be at two KFPL branches to talk about home fire prevention.  Free to adults, teens and children 7 years and older (to be accompanied by a caregiver), but seating is limited.  To avoid disappointment, please register in advance online at calendar.kfpl.ca or by phone at 613-549-8888.  Tuesday, October 8:  2 p.m. at Calvin Park branch and 7 p.m. at Isabel Turner branch.
