The Maze Runner by James Dashner

Thomas wakes up in a field surrounded by a maze. He can't remember who he is, where he's from, or why he's here. He knows lots of things — how to talk, how to ride a bike, how to do math — but he can't remember people, places, or his past. However, he's not alone. The field, or "the glade,” as they call it, is home to a community of boys who are Thomas’s age, all of them in the same boat, spending every day surviving and trying to find a way out. Every day is pretty much the same until the day after Thomas arrives. A girl is sent to the glade and monsters in the maze are trying to get into the glade. Thomas and his friends might have found a way to escape. And everything goes to hell from there.

The Maze Runner is a dystopian story unlike any other, with sci-fi beasts, corrupt government, and identity crisis:  none of the gladers know who they are, where there from, or where they are supposed to go, but they just have to keep putting one foot in front of the other.
