Frankenweenie is a PG claymation science fiction horror comedy film written and directed by Tim Burton. It's the story of a boy named Victor Frankenstein who loves his dog Sparky and science very much. But misfortune strikes, and Sparky is hit and killed by a car. A devastated Victor gets an idea to bring him back, which may lead to unfathomable consequences. The animation in the film is in black and white, which looks fantastic and really adds to the horror aspect. Tim Burton's animated characters are always very distinct and unique to him, which is one of the many things that make his films so incredible. The film has so many talented voice actors in the cast, such as Winona Ryder, Catherine O'Hara, and Martin Short. I would recommend this film to everyone because I think that it carries a nice message, and it's a really good movie to start with if you want to get into Tim Burton's filmography.
