If you liked the previous Ant-Man movies, and want a little bit more context and character development to Cassie (Ant-Man’s daughter) and Janet (Hope’s mother), feel free to watch Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. This movie is an action PG-13 movie where the quantum people are getting their world destroyed by a conqueror who is capable of destroying realities and timelines. It seems interesting, but my only issue is it only relates mainly to those two characters rather than Ant-Man (the main character of the series). It felt like Janet was more of a main character than Ant-Man, even though the powers were used quite frequently towards the end, which added an Ant-Man identity to the movie. But everything took a long time to develop. Doing further research, the conqueror does show up in later Marvel movies, which makes this movie more about the conqueror’s introduction to Marvel rather than the Ant-Man original cast. Overall, this movie was quite confusing and unnecessary to the Ant-Man series, and I would only recommend this to people who like special effects (which were really great) and the Ant-Man cast. You will be confused in the beginning, but there is a lot of action, which is entertaining.
