When someone saves you from a dark rabbit hole leading to doom, you’re sure to feel greatly indebted to your saviour. However, this debt can lead you to turn a blind eye to their wrongdoings. Such is the case for Raven, getting saved and adopted into a new ‘family’ - a car theft ring, learning new skills and being great at what she does and grateful for her boss, Diesel, for saving her from the streets. However, as time goes on, she realizes that perhaps this blind eye she has turned will lead to worse consequences.
Exposed is a short book aimed at those looking for a quick read. It has some romance and some action, mainly focused on Raven’s job. It's a small-sized book with just over 100 pages, which makes for a short read, great for passing a short amount of time to be immersed in the book’s fairly well-written characters. Although some lines can be slightly corny at times, it usually does not take away from the general storyline. The plot is very well written, with plot twists and a steady immersion into the criminal life in the beginning.
