This audiobook is the fifth and last audiobook in the series called The Heroes of Olympus.  In it, the heroes (Percy, Annabeth, Nico, Jason, Reyna, Leo, Piper and others) continue their adventure to save the world from destruction and make peace with the Greeks and the Romans.  The seven heroes follow the prophecy and are now on their way to Athens, where they must stop Gaea from rising.  The prophecy indicates that one of the heores is going to die, so as they tremble, they still seek hope and look for the physician’s cure.  On the other hand, Nico, Reyna and Coach Hedge have a harder mission, to make their way back to Camp Half Blood with the Athena Parthenos.  Their mission gets hard when Nico loses power with each shadow travel that he does and Reyna is forced to open the door to her past.  As the Greeks and Romans are preparing for war, Gaea prepares for her return.

This audiobook is very entertaining and has many cliffhangers that force you to listen non-stop.  The characters are very lovable and easy to relate to.  If you’re a fan of this series, you may be disappointed to finish the audiobook because it’s the last audiobook in the series and the end to the heroes' adventures.  The author did a great job of giving each hero a time and place in the story for them to get their happy endings and leave the reader wanting even more audiobooks and stories. I loved the plot of the story and how it turned out, because of how unexpected some parts were.  The unexpected happenings were very enjoyable to the reader and were something to look forward to in the story.

I would definitely recommend this audiobook for everyone to listen to, but it’s better to start at the beginning of the series to understand the plot of the story better. This story is for people who enjoy a good adventure and stories related to Greek or Roman mythology. This is also a story for people who enjoy cheesy love, action and sacrifice. I definitely recommend for everyone to try this great book series.
