All branches remain open

We know patrons are concerned by growing COVID case numbers in our community.

We don’t have the capacity to offer curbside pickup in addition to our regular services. Patrons wanting to keep their visits as short as possible are encouraged to reserve materials for easy pickup at any branch. Library staff can help you reserve items, and show you how to check your account online to see when your items are in transit or ready to pick up so that you can make a single trip.

If you aren’t able to visit the Library in person, staff can also support you in using our digital collections of eBooks, eAudiobooks, movies, magazines and music.

And KFPL no longer charges late fines, so you have the flexibility to keep your materials a few extra days so that you can make a single trip for several errands. Our outdoor drop boxes accept returns at all locations and are available 24/7.

Do you have questions about our proposed Extended Hours Project? Join us for conversation about how the project would work and what it would mean for library service at our Pittsburgh Branch. Our Director, Service Design and Delivery, will be on hand to answer your questions and share the next steps in our engagement process so that you can be involved.

Drop in to the Pittsburgh Branch Wednesday, Dec. 8 from 2-6 p.m. or Saturday, Dec. 11 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. You can also register for an online Zoom open house Thursday, Dec. 9 from 5-8 p.m. by clicking this link.

Every Tuesday at 9 a.m., registration will open for the following week's session.
