Let’s Celebrate a Summer of Reading Success!

We’re wrapping up this year’s TD Summer Reading Club with a special celebration to honour all our amazing readers! Join us for an exciting Fire and Ice show presented by Mad Science, enjoy face painting, tasty treats and strike a pose in front of our festive photo backdrop. As a special memento of your summer reading success, you’ll receive a Polaroid photo to take home. 

Need a break from the noise? Step into our Quiet Corner, where kids can enjoy calming, hands-on activities and experiments in a peaceful setting.

The Isabel Turner Branch will be temporarily closed starting Fall 2024 for renovations. During this time, we’ll be temporarily moving to the Cataraqui Centre.  Get updates here.

Storytime on a School Bus

Help your child with the big transition to school by climbing aboard a real school bus for stories, songs and more! This program is for children ages 3 to 5.

Share your feelings and get support

Overwhelmed by the climate change crisis? Join the Climate Feelings Circle sponsored by the Sisters of Providence. Learn about emotional responses to the crisis, and how to support one other in that learning.

The Circle will meet every three weeks from September through December. Due to pandemic gathering restrictions enrollment is limited to 12 people aged 16 and older. Thursdays from 4:15 to 5:45 p.m. at the Central Branch.

Let's chat about Pride!

Join us on September 15 at 6 p.m. for our monthly online Book Chat! This month our theme is Pride. Bring your books and other media connected to that theme, think of a few questions, or simply show up to chat about any literary topic that has you feeling excited.

Registration Opens September 4

Starting Saturday, September 4, patrons can register for our children's fall programs. To suit your needs, we're offering a hybrid of indoor, outdoor and virtual (livestream) programs. 

Registration for Stories in the Park and Stories in the Square all open at 8 a.m. the morning of the program. 

Due to COVID safety measures, patrons must register all individuals attending the program, including babies.
