Community Survey. Calvin Park green space and courtyard rejuvenation

What would you like to see?

The courtyard at our Calvin Park branch is an underused space and KFPL is looking to make it, and the green space surrounding the branch, more inviting and engaging.

We will be applying for grants to cover the costs of this project, and will not be able to move forward unless we are successful in obtaining the necessary funding. You can assist us by sharing your feedback about the proposed project so that funding organizations know we have our community's full support.

This 10-minute survey will inform our initial design and the focus or our grant application.  A summary report will be provided after the survey closes on June 18, 2021.

The legacy of Residential Schools

As our hearts and minds reflect on the discovery of 215 children buried at the Kamloops residential school, and the ongoing trauma that Indigenous peoples face, this list of resources on residential schools and anti-Indigenous racism will help inform our conversations.
