Older Adults Day

Join KFPL and Kingston Community Health Centres every Monday at the Rideau Heights Community Centre for a day of activities designed for older adults. Take part in exercise classes, educational workshops, a talking café, cards and board games and a monthly book club.

In It to Win It

Teen Volunteers Needed for Virtual Tutoring Program, "In It to Win It"

“In It to Win It” is a virtual tutoring and homework drop-in facilitated by Kingston and Frontenac teens for Kingston and Frontenac teens. KFPL is presently looking for upper-year secondary student volunteers to provide online tutoring to younger teens in Grades 7 and 8, as well as and older teens requiring special academic support.

Under the supervision of a KFPL programmer, volunteer tutors will work one-on-one, or with small subject groups, to mentor and motivate emerging learners. For more information and to apply, please follow the link below.
