The webinar will reflect on the 10 years since the TRC’s 94 Calls to Action were released—what progress has been made, what remains and the challenges that persist. A facilitated group discussion will follow the screening.

Light snacks, tea and coffee will be provided. Feel free to bring your own lunch.

We're getting ready!

We know you’ve been eagerly awaiting your reservations!

We’re working hard to get ready to serve you again. Here’s what you can do to prepare:

  • Cancel any reservations that you no longer want.
  • Pause any reservations that you’re not ready to view. This holds your place in the queue and makes sure you don’t get a whole lot of items at once.
  • For more information check out our Managing your Account page.
  • If you need someone to help you, give us a call at 613-549-8888.

Please don’t come to the branch until you’ve received an email or phone call that your items are ready for pickup.

Lights... Curtain... Action!

Have you discovered our Youtube channel? You'll find helpful how-to videos, and our children's programmers have been creating weekly episodes to keep your kids engaged.

Meredith's Maker Lab presents fun arts and crafts activities that use materials found around the house. This week, make your own miniature puppet theatre!

Free up some space - we're ready to accept your returns!

We will begin accepting returns through the external drop boxes at all of our branches on WednesdayMay 20th

Please don’t overfill the boxes or leave materials outside. The boxes are checked regularly, but we expect a high volume of returns. If the bin is full, please take your materials home and try again on another day. All materials have been renewed until June 1, so there is no risk of accruing fines.

Remember to keep a safe distance from other patrons outside our branches, and bring some hand sanitizer with you if possible. The handles on our book returns are sanitized regularly, but you should still clean your hands after returning your materials.

In order to ensure the safety of our patrons, items will be quarantined for 72 hours. It may also take us some time to process the returns due to volume, so items will not be removed from your account right away. We appreciate your patience as we begin this new phase of service.

All branches remain closed, but curbside pick up of materials will be coming soon. For updates, visit www.kfpl.ca or call 613-549-8888.
