Looking for something fun to do on the upcoming P.A. Day? Join us at KFPL for FREE hands-on activities! At the Rideau Heights Branch, discover the magic of magnets with playful experiments and challenges. Over at the Central Branch, design your own custom water bottle sticker using the Create Space Cricut Maker. At the Calvin Park Branch, get crafty and create a tiny dragon, dinosaur, shark or other wild creature with a big surprise inside!

LEGO Robotics Kits

Get ready to dive into the world of robotics with LEGO EV3! Build and program your very own creations using regular LEGO bricks and electronic components like motors, sensors and a “brick” (the brain that controls everything). Once your robot is built, you can program it to move, turn, pick up objects and even follow lines using the LEGO Mindstorms Robot Inventor app.

Stories in the Park and Square start this week!

Starting the week of May 20 until the end of August, bring a blanket and sunscreen and drop in for stories, songs and plenty of fun.
