Advance Care Planning: a Review for Past Attendees

A follow-up for those who’ve already attended an Introductory seminar on Advance Care Planning. Now that you’ve started planning for your future care needs, to ensure your wishes will be respected if you can no longer speak for yourself, a Review seminar can help articulate your values and start a discussion with your family. Choose one of these identical presentations: Monday, March 22 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, April 10 at 2 p.m.  Register to receive the Zoom link.

Freedom to read week. censorship, freedom of expression, access to information.

Freedom to Read Week

February 21 to 27 marks Freedom to Read Week in Canada. KFPL’s mission, vision and values outline our commitment to provide open and unrestricted access to information – sometimes controversial and difficult – so that you can select the information you feel is appropriate for you or your family.

Every year, libraries across Canada are asked to remove or restrict access to books for a variety of reasons. Explore the challenged books and events of 2019-2020, and our guiding principle of intellectual freedom, on the Freedom to Read Week website.
